We didn’t attend the nationals this year, but many of our connections had great success. I wanted to mention them here as these dogs are directly related to our breeding program. I poached all of these photos off of Facebook.
Jett
Congratulations to Shanaea VanderPol and her dog Jett who won Best Junior Handler and a WCA Award of Merit. Jett is GCh.Cheyenne’s What Goes Around Comes Around, and is out of Ch.Foxfire’s Bohemian Rhapsody (Gunnie) and Ch.Cheyenne N’ Foxfire’s Common Ground (True). He was bred by Christine Trujillo and Amy Fast and is owned by Shanaea VanderPol and Christine Trujillo. Congratulations guys! Jett’s pedigree.
China
Baby China turned 6 months old on May 6th, so this was her very first dog show. She placed 2nd in her sweepstakes class and 4th in regular classes. China is Jewel’s Foxfire Wild Ride and is owned by Chris & Steph Meyer. She is out of GCh.Jewel’s One Wild Night,NSD,NRD,V (Rowdy) and our Lillian, Ch.Foxfire’s Crazy Lil’ Thing Called Love. Steph said that China did a great job as a baby show dog. China’s pedigree.
Cricket
Cricket is Ch.Cheyenne’s Love Bug. She is out of Gunnie and GCh.Cheyenne’s Sparks Will Fly, NSD. She made the first cut for Best of Breed. Goober Brigade
There were several of Gunnie’s offspring competing including four from his litter with GCh.Cheyenne’s Sparks Will Fly, NSD(Aurora). Thanks to the owners of Gunnar, Mouse and Gunar (pictured) for allowing their pups to compete. All three of these pups had placements in the regional specialty, futurity or WCA national. Winnie was also there making a statement with her owner/handler Greg Robertson. Here’s Winnie and her little friend Riot, chilling in the hotel room while watching the humans pack up. Winnie is Foxfire’s Lil’ Angel Grace of Scots Glen, she is out of Gunnie and GCh.Foxfire’s Slow Dancing With The Moon (Uma). Winnie’s pedigree.
Rowdy
Rowdy is GCh.Jewel’s One Wild Night,JH, NSD,NRD,V, and has been a baby daddy for us twice. Rowdy is Jean Bean’s sire (Ch.Foxfire’s Wild Lil’ Bling’d Thing) and the sire if our litter with Lillian born Nov.6, 2014 (See China above). Rowdy won an Award of Merit at the national specialty. Congratulations to breeder/owners Steph and Chris Meyer! This is Rowdy’s second Award of Merit at a national specialty. He also won AOM in 2012.
